A beautiful way to recycle

Smithton and Culloden Community Council decided to bring a little 'magic' into the lives of the community.
After discussions with Highland Council, it was decided that the remains of the some felled and dangerous trees should be used to provide 7 pieces of public art. The idea was inspired by the Lost Garden of Heligan in Cornwall, which has similar works of art in a classical style.
Local primary school children chose the designs as an art project and the CC topped up the total fund.
